Russian opposition politician Maria Gaidar was recently appointed deputy head of the Odesa regional administration.
However, while speaking to journalists on July 17, she couldn’t respond
to a question about who is waging war with Ukraine. She later redeemed
herself on July 19 in an interview saying, “this war is illegal, immoral
and Russia is an aggressor.”
