Alumni of Taras Shevchenko National University were shaken by a scandal when journalism professor Nikita Vasilenko wrote numerous personal insults to graduates on Facebook.
The professor was angered about their criticism of the alma mater. He
called former students “morons” and “losers.” Other professors and the
dean protected him, saying that his personal comments didn’t represent
the college.
