Member of parliament Ihor Mosiychuk from the Radical Party was arrested in the Verkhovna Rada after the Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin showed parliament a video of the lawmaker allegedly negotiating bribes of tens of thousands of dollars.

He remains in pre-trial custody for a 60-day period under orders from
Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court. The case raises the issue of selective
justice again, since Shokin has not succeeded in prosecuting any major
crimes in recent Ukrainian history and, it appears, allowed ex-President
Viktor Yanukovych’s ally, former member of parliament Serhiy Klyuyev,
to get away in June after his immunity from prosecution was lifted.
