Don't believe any study that says being a 'newspaper reporter' is the worst job you can ever get. The thing is that journalism is damn fun (most of the time) – especially in Ukraine.

A two-hour figure skating show in Kyiv brought together winners and medalists of the national championships. They will now hunt for European medals in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2013. The strongest Ukrainian figure skaters will represent the nation in the forthcoming European figure skating championships that start Jan 21-27. During the recent gala concert in December, Ukrainian pairs and ice dancers gave pleasure to the audience at the Ice Arena in Kyiv. The new skating rink in Darnytsia district was built a year ago for the national figure skating team. Dmytro Dmytrenko, a famous Ukrainian figure skater, was the host of the gala concert and performed with an array of theatrical performances on ice.
