Kyiv’s Stadium Voskhod, on the city’s outskirts, hosted semifinal and final Kiev Cricket League games on July 13-15. Cricket is not a very popular sport in Ukraine, though it has many passionate fans among expatriate enthusiasts, including Mohammad Zahoor, ISTIL Group chairman and Kyiv Post publisher. Dr. Zahoor was among high guests present at the tournament won by team Friends XI.
