The bill could be approved by parliament this week.

Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council decided on the areas in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions which could get special status during a meeting last Thursday. However they said that areas captured by Russian-backed militants after September 19, 2014 will not be included.
