The Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal has announced a profit of Hr 156.1 million about $19.56 million for 2010 up from a loss of Hr 290.5 million 3 million in 2009.
In 2010, Zaporizhstal produced 3.449 million tonnes of crude steel and 2.763 million tonnes of pig iron while its shipments of rolled steel products amounted to 2.855 million tonnes. In 2010, Zaporizhstal pig iron output increased by 31,000 tonnes YoY, its crude steel output rose by 171,700 tonnes from the previous year while its rolled steel products output climbed up by 105,600 tonnes.
