Bandar Seri Begawan - Ukraine is considering participating in Brunei's projects on oil and gas extraction in future, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko has said.

"We [Ukraine] have already accumulated some experience in exploring and extracting oil… We want to understand whether we can in some way join the projects that will be developed in this country [Brunei] in future," he told journalists, while commenting on the outcome of bilateral talks held between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah in Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei) on Wednesday.

Hryschenko noted that Brunei used the most effective technology in the work with liquefied natural gas and that Ukraine was interested in the experience of this country. The Ukrainian foreign minister is a member of the official Ukrainian delegation during Yanukovych’s state visit to Brunei on March 29-31.
