There is no reason for the price of bread to increase in Ukraine, Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has said.
"The sales price [of bread] fully covers the current expenditures of bakeries and agricultural enterprises, so there is no reason for any bread price increases," the government’s press service quoted the premier as saying.
Azarov also noted that a new marketing year has just started, and if necessary the government will make every effort to prevent there being any increase in the price of bread.
