Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said he is certain his country will be able to pay for Russian natural gas $416 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2012, and that this price is laid down in the 2012 draft budget.
"We are quite stable now and we have a firm position in our talks, so I said: if the price is $416, we will have to pay it. We inherited it. It is not an easy legacy… We will cope with it, don’t you worry, we will meet the New Year in good spirits," the Ukrainian premier told journalists in Kyiv on Thursday.
