National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and RWE Supply Trading GmbH (RWEST, Germany) have signed a framework agreement for the purchase and sale of natural gas, the Ukrainian gas monopoly said in a press release.
"The mentioned agreement forms the legal grounds for possible deliveries of natural gas to the company [Naftogaz] from RWEST and, furthermore, does not contain obligations for both sides for buying or selling the energy resources," the press release said.
According to the agreement, the prices, supply volumes and obligations for both sides to supply natural gas will be set according to separate contracts after their approval and signing by both companies.
