Ukraine spent Hr 40 billion on the implementation of infrastructure projects for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship over two years, Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov said.
"Over two years of preparations for the championship, we spent UAH 40 billion on infrastructure projects," he said at a meeting with experts to discuss an import replacement program in Kyiv on Friday.
The official exchange rate on June 8 is UAH 7.9925 per U.S. dollar.
