Shell has complained about the quality of Ukrainian pipes, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.

"The company management told me today that "your pipes do not meet our standards." Well, excuse me, many of our customers are satisfied with our pipes, as we export them to 40 countries," he said at a meeting with the experts to discuss the import substitution program, talking about his meeting with the Shell leadership in Kyiv on June 8.

The prime minister proposed the creation of a joint commission to resolve the issue.

"I proposed the creation of a joint commission, conduct of tests, and if we see that the quality of our pipes is not suitable, we will import them," he said.
