You're reading: Gazprom agrees to cut Ukraine 2010 gas volumes

MOSCOW, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom said on Tuesday it had agreed with Ukrainian state energy firm Naftogaz to supply 33.75 billion cubic metres of gas to Ukraine in 2010, less than previously contracted.

Gazprom said in a statement the two sides had also confirmed that Russia would not levy fines on Ukraine for taking less gas than contracted in 2009.
