Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has demanded to relax the permit system for starting and doing business from Kyiv's authorities, in particular, for connection to electricity, water and gas supply systems.

The cabinet's department for public relations reported that Azarov gave the instructions at a meeting with the leadership of Kyiv city administration and heads of central executive power bodies devoted to the settling of urgent problems of Kyiv's development and provision for the city's vital needs.

The premier said that exaction should be stamped out, in particular, in the infrastructure sphere for connections to the electricity, gas and water supply systems.

He said that all urgent problems should be tackled at the legal level and coordinated at the level of ministries, bodies and city power.
