You're reading: Google expands Ukraine operations

Global Internet giant Google celebrates “Google Day” on June 22 by announcing the expansion of operations in Ukraine.

Seven employees will work in Kyiv on Ukrainian-language versions of the company’s services, including search tools, Internet maps and the browser Chrome.

The event was attended by Nelson Mattos, vice president for development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Mohammad Gawdat, head of emerging markets, and Dmytro Sholomko, business development manager for Ukraine.
