Ukraine will take part in exploration for oil in Sri Lanka.
This agreement was reached during a meeting of Presidents of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"We have agreed that the Ukrainian side will support our proposals to explore for oil in our land," said Rajapaksa said at a joint press conference with Yanukovych.
Yanukovych, in turn, confirmed Ukraine’s interest in exploring and developing oil deposits in Sri Lanka.
