The road map is a detailed timeline of the project’s feasibility indicating deadlines for each stage of the work and other details related to the project.

South Stream’s annual capacity will be 63 billion cubic meters of gas. The project plans for the utilization of gas pipelines already existing in Bulgaria and the construction of new ones.

The timely implementation of the road map will make it possible to switch to the next stage of the project which is the development of the design documents.

South Stream and Nord Stream are the two export gas pipeline projects that will directly link Russia and European Union countries.

South Stream should run through the Black Sea to a number of southern and central European countries.
