Interpripe Pipe and Wheel Company has opened a new pipe product warehouse in Atyrau, which is the next step of its warehouse development program in Kazakhstan, reads an Interpipe press release issued on Monday.

In addition to Atyrau, Interpipe has warehouse facilities in both Alma-Ata and Astana.

The new warehouse allows for 3,000 tonnes of pipe products to be processed per month. Currently, there are 2,000 tonnes of pipes stored at the warehouse.

"The opening of a storage platform at Atyrau will help us reduce the delivery terms of pipe products to the western region of Kazakhstan, and also minimize clients’ expenses. Interpipe’s products are in demand and the new warehouse will help us satisfy our customers’ needs in a shorter time," said Vira Smal, the director for Industrial Application Sales at Interpipe.
