The government of Ukraine is planning in the fourth quarter of 2010 to repay a bridge loan of $2 billion attracted from Russia's VTB Bank in June 2010, according to a memorandum of economic and financial policies of the Ukrainian government sent to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to the document, Ukraine plans in the third quarter of 2010 to place eurobonds worth $1.3 billion and receive $150 million from the European Union and $300 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Ukraine expects a $500 million loan from the World Bank and a $300 million loan from the European Union in the fourth quarter of 2010. In addition, Kyiv plans in the third to fourth quarter to receive another $100 million under another financing project.
