Foxtrot Household Appliances expects to boost turnover in 2010

Kyiv-based Foxtrot Household Appliances, one of the leading wholesale and retail sellers of audio, video and household appliances in Ukraine, and part of Foxtrot Group, plans to increase its net commodity turnover by 50% at the end of the current financial year, which ends on April 1, 2011, compared to the previous financial year, to $648,999 excluding VAT.

"We set ourselves the task of increasing commodity turnover by 50% compared to the previous financial year. According to an independent financial audit, net commodity turnover of Foxtrot Household Appliances in 2008-2009 financial year came to $432,666," the company's press service reported, referring to deputy CEO Yuriy Ponomarenko.

Ponomarenko also said that the rise in net commodity turnover since the start of the current financial year is 40%.

"The first half of the current financial year (2010-2011) showed a rise of some 40% year-over-year, and for the second half of the year we forecast a rise of 50% year-over-year," he said.

He did not disclose the monetary indicator of net commodity turnover over the period.

The Foxtrot. Household Appliances includes Foxtrot supermarkets, FoxMart, Foxtrot Digital Appliances stores, and Technoshara trade outlets.
