Kyiv-based Antonov state-run enterprise has been awarded with a status of "The Best Domestic Producer 2010" in the nomination "Aircraft and Rocket Construction". Kyiv-based Antonov state-run enterprise has been awarded with a status of "The Best Domestic Producer 2010" in the nomination "Aircraft and Rocket Construction" and the top award of the national contest "The Best Domestic Product 2010."

According to the press service of the enterprise, the contest jury noted the successful experience of the first year of exploitation of the An-148 plane and demand for it on the domestic and foreign markets, and the successful implementation of a contract for the modernization of fleet of the Indian Air Force with An-32 planes, which is one of the largest contracts in the history of military and technical cooperation of independent Ukraine.

In addition, the jury noted the unique capabilities of the An-225 "Mriya" heavy transport airplane, which is able to transport various super heavy cargoes weighing up to 250 tonnes, in particular, for international humanitarian missions.

The contest took place as part of the Colorful Ukraine annual exhibition event.
