The financial situation is stable in Ukraine today and no fluctuations will upset it, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said after a meeting of the Regions Party in Kyiv on Thursday.
Asked whether the repayment of a debt to RosUkrEnergo could lead to the bankruptcy of National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, he replied: "Honestly speaking, nothing can affect the financial and economic situation in the state at the moment, even a second wave of [economic] crisis."
The prime minister added that no decision of the current authorities would be detrimental to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
