Denmark has supported Ukraine's initiative to sign a roadmap for trade and economic cooperation, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service has reported.

The deputy foreign ministers of Ukraine and Denmark discussed this issue during the next round of bilateral political talks in Copenhagen on Friday, the press service said.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, while the Danish delegation was led by State Secretary for Foreign Policy Michael Zilmer-Johns.

During the talks, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation, interaction within international organizations and international development.

Klimkin and Zilmer-Johns expressed their mutual interest in the further implementation of a project on the transportation of fuel by an Il-76MD aircraft from Thule Air Base to Station Nord and confirmed their readiness to complete joint work on a framework document.

They also agreed to hold the next round of bilateral political talks in Kyiv in 2011.
