The average annual price of gas imported to Ukraine in 2010 will be about $266.50 per 1,000 cubic meters, according to a forecast included in a $2 billion issue of Ukrainian eurobonds.
According to the document, the average annual price of gas imported from Russia over the first seven months of 2010 was $262.10 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The average tariff for Russian gas transit through Ukraine in 2010 is forecasted at $2.65 per 1,000 cubic meters per 100 kilometers.
Along with this, the expected volume of natural gas transit through Ukraine to the CIS and Europe in 2010 will be 98.2 billion cubic meters, including 94.9 billion cubic meters to Europe. Thus, natural gas transit volumes in 2010 will grow by 2.5% (2.4 billion cubic meters) compared to 2009.
The volume of imported gas purchases in 2010, according to earlier agreements between Naftogaz Ukrainy and OAO Gazprom, will be 36.5 billion cubic meters.
