The Ukrainian cabinet wants to receive powers to select strategic economic sectors and independently approve programs on their reformation and development.
The cabinet proposed to amend the Economic Code of Ukraine and the law on the Ukrainian cabinet.
Draft law No. 7180, which contains the said amendments, was registered in the parliament on September 29 and is being considered by parliamentary committees.
