Moscow, Oct. 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Talks between Russia and Ukraine on bilateral cooperation in the sphere of industry took place at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, according to its press service.

"The agenda of a meeting of the subcommission on cooperation in the sphere of the aviation industry included ten issues. Among them was joint production of An-148 planes, the establishment of the OAK-Antonov joint venture, and others," reads the report.

As for preparations for the creation of the OAK-Antonov joint venture, founding documents are to be signed at a scheduled meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian Economic Cooperation Committee in Kyiv on Oct. 26.

According to Deputy Russian Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov, "bilateral cooperation in the sphere of aviation construction is stable and it is not going to expand and deepen at the industrial level," the report said.
