You're reading: Three companies obtain over half of grain export quotas

Nibulon Ltd., Kernel-Trade Ltd. and Serna, a company with foreign investment, have obtained 52.6% of the grain export quota, which equals 2.182 million tonnes until the end of the current year, according to the Ukrainian Economy Ministry.

The list of companies that obtained licenses to export grain has been posted on the official Web site of the ministry.

Kernel-Trade obtained a license to export 436,100 tonnes, Nibulon – 380,500 tonnes and Serna 331,900 tonnes.

The whole wheat export quota of 500,000 tonnes was distributed between 14 companies. In particular, Nibulon obtained a license to export 46,000 tonnes of wheat, Volars Agro – 24,600 tonnes, Kernel-Trade – 104,300 tonnes, Volars-Export Ltd. – 9,180 tonnes, Ukrainian Agrarian Investments Ltd. – 30,300 tonnes, FA Intertrading Ltd. – 17,450 tonnes, Agrofarmahim Ltd. – 8,188 tonnes, Suntrade Company with foreign investment – 65,000 tonnes, CJSC Rambus – 21,469 tonnes, Serna – 117,000 tonnes, Agro Trade Company Ltd. – 12,380 tonnes, Roszernoproduct Ltd. – 7,000 tonnes, Khlib Investbud Ltd. – 2,700 tonnes, and OJSC Ustynivka Bread – 34,131 tonnes.

The corn export quota of 1.482 million tonnes was distributed between 25 companies. The largest volumes were given to Nibulon (307,436 tonnes), Kernel-Trade (276,000 tonnes), Suntrade (101,436 tonnes), Klov Ltd. (100,780 tonnes), Serna (169,000 tonnes), and Khlib Investbud (109,517 tonnes).

Seven companies obtained the right to export barley (under a 200,000 tonne quota), including Suntrade (41,000 tonnes), Nibulon (26,950 tonnes), Kernel-Trade (55,700 tonnes), Investment Management Ltd. (646.7 tonnes), Serna (45,777 tonnes), Transinvestservice Ltd. with foreign investment (8,920 tonnes), and Agro Trade Company Ltd. (20,889 tonnes).
