November 26, 2009 at 22:03Victoria Shapoval was appointed as a deputy within Ukraine’s Environmental Protection Ministry.
Shapoval started working in Ukrainian government back in 1999, when she was an assistant to a lawmaker.
She worked her way up by 2005 to a department within the presidential office that analyzes the work of government agencies. Later, in 2008, she worked as chief of the public relations office within the Cabinet of Ministers.
Shapoval has a history and philology degree graduate of Cherkasy State Bogdan Khmelnytsky University. She also obtained a law degree from National Dragomanov Pedagogical University and a master’s from the National Academy of Public Administration.
