Olena Tkachenko
Olena Tkachenko has joined Werner & Partners, the newly-established Ukrainian-German law firm, as a partner.
Tkachenko joins the firm as a specialist in tax, contractual and corporate law, as well as legal issues involving external economic activities. She has extensive experience in representing the interests of Ukrainian and international companies. She defended clients’ interests in re-privatization disputes, including the much-publicized case of Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, and corporate conflicts.
Before joining Werner & Partners, Tkachenko worked as senior lawyer and counsel for the Arzinger law firm. Prior to that, she was an in-house lawyer at EastOne, which manages the assets of Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk.Tkachenko has a degree in law from the Donetsk State University.
