Yan Tavrovsky was appointed managing director, head of investment banking for Russia and Ukraine and deputy chief executive for Russia at J.P. Morgan, a leading global financial services company.

Tavrovsky will lead a team that provides J.P. Morgan’s full spectrum of advisory and capital raising services to companies, financial institutions and governments working in the region.

He returns to J.P. Morgan after five years with Morgan Stanley, where he held the position of managing director, head of investment banking for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States and deputy chairman of the management board.

From 2000 to 2005, he held several management roles at J.P. Morgan in Moscow and London. He worked at Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2000.
