PFTS opens down on low liquidity
November 17, 2008 at 13:45 | Elena PlekhanovaAs of noon, the total trading volume was about $11.5 million with $11.2 million on governmental and corporative bonds.
The best example characterizing the moods of the market players is that in the period from 11:00 to 12:00 only 1 deal on stocks was concluded. The “lucky” issuer was Enakievo Metallurgical Plant that dropped 3.8 percent.

The PFTS' year-high peak of 1198.22 came on Jan. 17 and followed a 130 percent rise in 2007. However, since the beginning of 2008, the PFTS index has fallen by more than 75 percent from the Jan. 1 start at 1160.34.
