AeroSvit to sell tickets under Crazy Friday program every week

AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines (Kyiv) from May 22 will offer tickets at reduced prices under its Crazy Friday program every Friday, according to a press release of the air carrier.

The cost of a return ticket on internal routes will be $29, on international short routes $99, and international long routes $399.

As reported, in March 2009 AeroSvit announced the Crazy Friday program due to which passengers can buy tickets at reduced prices every other Friday.

CJSC AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines was established in 1994. According to the company, currently 62% of its shares belong to Ukrainian owners: the State Property Fund of Ukraine owns 22.3941%, Genaviainvest Ltd 24.999%, UkrInfoConsult 9.8% and Buro Ltd. 4.8%. Some 38% of the shares belong to Gilward Investments B.V. (the Netherlands)

The company's fleet includes 15 Boeing aircraft.

In 2008, the air company increased passenger transportation by 22%, to 2.51 million passengers, having performed 29,960 flights.
