You're reading: Kyiv could increase funding of youth lending by 2.3 times in 2012

Kyiv City State Administration has found the possibility in 2012 of increasing by Hr 13 million, to Hr 23 million, the funds to repay interest on loans issued to young families for housing purchases, Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Ruslan Kramarenko has said.

"The city budget foresees Hr 10 million to repay interest on youth credits, [but] we made it possible to increase the figure to Hr 23 million. Thus, we will refund the debt that was run up during the crisis," the press service said, citing Kramarenko.

According to him, the debt on the repayment of interest on loans issued to youth for housing purchases has reached Hr 38 million.
