Protesters in Kyiv want early parliamentary and presidential elections
March 27, 2009 at 13:42 | Interfax-UkraineThe document was addressed to President Viktor Yushchenko, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn.
"We express our distrust in President Viktor Yushchenko and the government led by Premier Yulia Tymoshenko," reads the resolution.
The document focuses on the existing problems in Ukraine, particularly growth in the unemployment rate, and inflation.
In this connection, the protesters are demanding that the current authorities resign and that snap parliamentary and presidential elections be held.
