Apr 22, 2009 at 14:33 | Staff reportsThe event will be taking place on April 25, from 11:00 till 14:00, starting from a base near Moskovskiy bridge. Organizers said the participants will be able to clean the island, plant trees, as well as have fun in the company of folk musicians.
“We’re sincerely calling all residents of our large home called Ukraine not to poison our lives by littering streets, parks and forests, but to remember that the cleanliness of human soul starts from the cleanliness of one’s yard,” the organizers said in a press statement.
The Earth Day is celebrated aroudn the world on April 22.
