Cabinet withdraws Kyiv motorcycle plant from list of enterprises subjected to privatization in 2009

The Cabinet of Ministers has excluded the Kyiv motorcycle plant from the list of enterprises subjected to the privatization in 2009.

This is read in the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No.1240-r of October 21.

The relevant amendment was put into the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No.1517 of December 3, 2008, which endorsed the list.

Besides, the government agreed with the proposal of the State judicial administration regarding the transfer of the nine-storey house located at 8 Simii Khokhlovykh under the control of the State judicial administration for the location of the Kyiv Appeal Business Court.

The Cabinet of Ministers urged the SPF to in a week transfer this house under control of the State judicial administration.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in December 2008, the Cabinet of Ministers made the list of 228 enterprises subjected to the privatization in 2009.

The Kyiv motorcycle plant open joint-stock company manufactures motorbikes, bikes, spare parts for them, and also farm equipment.

The Kyiv motorcycle plant finished 2008 with a loss of UAH 1.261 million.

In 2008, net revenue rose by 8.5% or UAH 0.646 million to UAH 8.233 million against 2007.

100% of the shares in the factory belong to the state and are managed by the State Property Fund.

The Kyiv motorcycle factory, which is registered as opened joint-stock company, produces motorcycles, bicycles, spare parts for them, as well as agricultural equipment.
