Kyiv Post upgrades website
Oct 30, 2009 at 17:49“We are excited about the new website. It has more news sections and a news archives with advanced search options, so that people can find more of our unique articles dating back to the mid-1990s,” said Brian Bonner, chief editor. “But as with any change, there are technological hurdles to overcome. We apologize to our readers for any inconvenience they have experienced and we ask for their patience. We think they will like the changes we are making.”
The redevelopment and upgrade of the website comes three months after new owner Mohammad Zahoor, a British citizen, purchased the newspaper from its founder, Jed Sunden.
Zahoor owns the ISTIL Group in Kyiv. The website is being redeveloped by Memo of Kyiv. The Kyiv Post gets a half-million hits monthly from users worldwide, mainly in Ukraine, the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany.
