Lavrynovych calls cabinet redistribution of funds from stabilization fund to support activity of Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals corrupt
Nov 2, 2009 at 12:43"We know that this Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals is the only court responsible for the consideration of election disputes, as well as for taking decisions on the activity or inactivity of the Central Elections Committee and its members. And the decision on the allocation of UAH 2.5 million contradicts at least two laws of Ukraine - the law on the state budget and the law on funds regulation of the Stabilization Fund, and, thus, this could be seen as corrupt activity," Lavrynovych said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Moreover, he said that in the near future the court plans to consider a case on the legality of the continuance in office of CEC member Anatoliy Pysarenko "who supports the BYT."
Lavrynovych noted that the Circuit Administrative Court of Kyiv had already issued a ruling on the illegality of Pysarenko's remaining a member of the CEC.
