One swine flu death recorded in Kyiv One person has died of swine flu in Kyiv, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said.

"I've just received a report from the health minister confirming the death of a man from California flu [A(H1N1) flu virus]," she said at a teleconference with regional governors in Kyiv on Wednesday.

The first deputy chairwoman of Kyiv City State Administration, Irena Kilchytska, in turn, said that "a man died of pneumonia yesterday and we have the first confirmation that this was [due to] the H1N1 virus."
