The main directorate of the ministry of interior affairs in Kyiv recorded 29 cases of violations related to the election process on Feb. 7, the day of the presidential election runoff, Ukrainian News has learned from a spokesman for the interior ministry's Kyiv directorate.

In his words, these are: hooliganism acts, attempts of taking ballot papers out from polling stations, taking snapshots of ballot papers, obstructing work of election commissions, and other cases.

On the whole, police found no grave violations of election laws in the capital.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, presidential election runoff ended on February 7, at 8pm in Ukraine and tallying of votes began.
