Parliament member: Siayvo bookshop in city center seized by unidentified people
Feb 9, 2010 at 12:05 | Ukrainian News"I was called and told masked people seized the shop," he said.
In his words, several unidentified people in masks burst into the shop at about 8pm, pushed the staff outside and locked themselves in the shop from inside.
After that, the shop personnel called police, which are now staying at the shop too.
As to Kulikov, the people in the shop refuse the police to open the door.
As earlier reported, Siayvo bookshop is demanding the commercial court of Kyiv to revoke privatisation of the shop premises at 6 Krasnoarmeiskaya (Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya) Street by Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district state administration.
The district administration proposed to carry out an official investigation into legality of actions by officials from its communal property department, privatisation and entrepreneurship during the sale of the shop floors.
In September 2009, the department sold Siayvo floors of 383 square meters at an auction to Abril-studio limited liability company for Hr 2.248 million.
