Swiss commits suicide in Premier Palace Hotel in Kyiv

A 44-year-old male citizen of Switzerland committed suicide on March 8 in Premier Palace hotel in Kyiv, journalists have learned from a spokesman for the Shevchenkovskyi district police station of Kyiv.

In his words, at about 4:30 pm on March 8 the Swiss threw himself from the flight of stairs at the hotels' fifth floor.

He left two suicide notes, saying he had been in a hard material condition and terminally ill daughter.

It is not known for how long he was residing in Kyiv.

Police is holding an investigation.

As earlier reported, officers from the capital's department for fighting crimes involving human trafficking detained a doorkeeper of Premier Palace hotel in Kyiv on suspicion of panderage.
