Three companies have submitted documents to participate in a tender to lease property at the Kyiv's Zhuliany Airport: S&P law firm, Master-Avia and Promsotsprorozvytok.

This information was disclosed at a meeting of the Kyiv City Council’s commission on ownership, the press service of the BYT faction told Interfax-Ukraine.

The commission has all but selected the winner of the tender. According to the preliminary data, the winner is the Master-Avia Company, as only it submitted properly drafted documents.

However, some members of the commission objected to the results of the tender being announced before the expiration of the 30-day term foreseen by the law. As a result, the announcement has been postponed for two weeks.

The deputy chairman of the commission on ownership, Denys Moskal of the BYT faction, said that the commission had illegally tried to complete the tender before the expiration of the set term.

"The question is why was the tender held so hastily? The lawful procedure for its conduct was not observed. As we see, there was an attempt to adopt the results on the 14th day, ignoring the 30-day term foreseen in the legislation," the MP said.

He said that during the carrying out of the competition, the interests of one of the companies were unfairly lobbied for, in spite of national and city interests.
