All grass and peat fires in Kyiv region have been put out, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's main office in the region told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

The office said that as of 0600 on Monday, firefighters had extinguished a peat bog fire near the village of Syniaky in Vyshgorod district. Over the last 24 hours, firefighters have put out seven grass and garbage fires in the region.

"There are currently no fires in the region," the press service said. According to the report, there are no fires in the Chornobyl zone.
