Ukrainian Transport and Communications Ministry expects to launch regular railway traffic on the Darnytsia Bridge on October 1.

On October 25, a modernized platform at the Livy Bereh station will be opened, and on December 1, a roadway will be launched from the left bank of the Dnipro River to the right bank, Ukrainian Transport and Communications Minister Kostiantyn Yefymenko informed on Friday.

According to the minister, the ministry has successfully resolved both funding-related issues and all questions of land plots.

According to Yefymenko, it only remains to remove seven garages from the territory where the bridge is located.

The government drew a credit from Deutsche Bank of $700 million for the construction of the bridge.
