The office of the All-Ukrainian Union Freedom [Svoboda] led by ultra-nationalist Oleh Tiahnybok on Sept. 5 complained that it members in Luhansk are not being allowed to charter buses to Kyiv on Sept. 7.

Svoboda member Dmytro Snegirov said Luhansk oblast officials have instructed bus drivers not to take anti-government demonstrators to the rally in Kyiv called by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

"This is a violation of our basic human right to travel freely and take part in peaceful demonstrations," Snegirov was quoted as saying by Freedom's website as saying.
