A project for the construction of a rail link between Kyiv and Boryspil airport could be prepared by the end of November, Ukrainian Vice-Premier in charge of Euro 2012 Borys Kolesnikov has said.

"I think the project will be ready by the end of November," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.

Kolesnikov said that there was currently a plan proposing the construction of a railway between Darnytsia railway station and Boryspil airport.

As reported, an agreement on financing the construction of a rail link between Kyiv and Boryspil International Airport was signed during Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's state visit to China.

A framework agreement signed between Boryspil International Airport and a Chinese company allows Ukraine to obtain credit financing of up to $1 billion and foresees the construction of an eight-kilometer-long railway from Kyiv to Boryspil Airport, the construction of four railway stations and the provision of the railway with electric trains.
