The Week of Iranian Culture and Art will be held in Kyiv on Nov. 11-17 this year, Iran's Ambassador to Ukraine Akbar Qasemi-Aliabadi has said.
"The Week of Iranian Culture and Art will be held in the Ukrainian House on Nov. 11-17," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
According to the ambassador, an official opening ceremony will take place on Nov. 11 at 11:00. During the Week of Iranian Culture and Art, Ukrainians will be able to familiarize themselves with various kinds of Iranian art, national traditions, Iranian food, national clothing, and samples of decorative art.
"This event will promote further close relations between the two nations," Qasemi-Aliabadi said.
According to him, a similar week of Ukrainian Culture and Art is planned to be held in Teheran at the beginning of 2011.
