Ukrainian Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko has promised Ukraine's MPs that the government, headed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, will constantly take care of the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.

At a sitting of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, asked about the reasons for the cut of financing to the capital in the draft state budget for 2011, Yaroshenko said: "Don’t worry, the premier Mykola Azarov, I as the finance minister and all government members are constantly overseeing the capital. And we will secure the harmonious development of our capital."

Yaroshenko also noted that the draft state budget "includes some issues that will be separately financed," in particular, this refers to capital expenditures of the capital of Ukraine.
